Key Account Manager (located in London)

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team in London for our product ED Controls. Your new job
As Key Account Manager in London, you will work closely with the sales director to increase the number of deals and revenues in your region and ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded. You are responsible for generating new sales leads and prospecting new business; using your own network and cold acquisition, as well as following up on leads generated through social media campaigns and trade fair visits. Building strong relationships with our internal sales teams and agencies is the key to this role. Ideally, you are driven, result-oriented and consider yourself to be an innovative thinker who works well under pressure. You manage your own diary, have experience in building and cultivating relationships and are motivated and competitive with a track record that exceeds KPI standards. An affinity with construction and ICT is not a must, but a preference.
What you’ll need to succeed
- You are a true sales hunter and have a minimum of three years of sales/new business experience which you can demonstrate with results.
- You’re an excellent communicator and presenter.
- You have a high level of organisational skills and are detail-oriented.
- You’re a self-starter with the ability to develop and maintain your own pipeline.
- You are autonomous and driven.
- As a plus, you have experience with CRM-systems.
